Becky originally joined CAT in 1991 for the chorus of Brigadoon and as a dancer in Gigi. In 2004 she started directing shows, joining the committee as Chair in 2012. Becky has directed several
pantomimes, the smash hit musical Rent and more recently - Hot Mikado for CAT. She is a member and Director of other local theatre groups and enjoys spreading the word to all "theatre luvvies". As well as musical theatre Becky also loves chocolate, Butlins and glow in the dark glasses. Very cultured!
Aaf is one of the longest standing members of the company, joining as wardrobe mistress in 1987. Co-opted onto the committee in 2012, Aaf was formally elected as a committee member in 2013.
Aaf has 3 sons, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren - very expensive at Christmas!!
Aaf loves lots of color and bling, you only have to look at the costumes for Hot Mikado to see proof of that!
Rob joined CAT in 2008 after being headhunted for the cast of "Two's Company". Joining the committee the following year as 'Minutes' Secretary, Rob's role soon trangressed into what he now penned the 'Everything Else' Secretary! Rob's career in amateur theatre started at the age of 4 and he's never looked back. A keen actor and singer, Rob openly admits that he can't dance, won't dance!
Angie's first show with CAT was in 2005, after
which she joined the committee on different
projects and has never looked back. Angie just loves going to see all sorts of shows but musical theatre is definitely the big favourite.
Angie has been happily married to Anth for over 30 years, claiming their secret is knowing what makes each other ‘tick!!’
Their four children are encouraged to take part in shows or work behind the scenes – and love it too!! Von Trapp's?? :)
Amy joined CAT in February of 2013, performing in our production of Hot Mikado as 'Pish Tush'. Shortly after the end of HM Amy joined the committee as Marketing Manager.
Amy handles the majority of marketing for CAT and manages the company's website.
Outside of CAT Amy works in Cambridge as a Product Marketing Manager and LOVES Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Retro!
A member since 2012, The Sound of Music was Martin’s first show with CAT. Roles include Widow Twanky in Aladdin, Pooh Baa in Hot Mikado, Ugly Sister in Cinderella & Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz – all huge makeup challenges! He’s our newest committee member and brings with him expert set and backstage skills.
Martin puts his love of amateur theatre down to his Dad – another Theatre Dame!
Sue joined the committee in 2015 after he son Matthew played the Munchkin Mayor in The Wizard of Oz. Since then he's featured in a further two CAT shows, including playing the title role in Peter Pan at Christmas in 2015. Sue herself just loves to help out and is a big family person. She's a big crafter and loves making birthday/
christmas cakes for said family. In the past she's enjoyed singing in choirs but she also loves singing in the car, pretending to be Whitney!
